FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
For those of you who've been with us a while, you probably already know this: 3D printing has its little quirks. But for some of our newer customers, opening their excitedly awaited packages brought a small surprise – especially when it came to rainbow filament on small or flat products. (Little spoiler: It doesn't always turn out as vibrant as you might expect from larger prints.) This, understandably, led to quite a few questions.
To answer the most common inquiries directly and provide more clarity, we've now put together an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) list.

Why isn't my color GRADIENT product very colorful?
For small pieces (like trays, Ecki's, Gridberts), only a short section of the long color gradient is printed. The result: Often only 1-2 colors. This is normal and depends on chance! Really colorful pieces usually only appear on larger pieces.

Can I choose the color of gradient products?
No, the colors are always random with gradients (e.g., rainbow). If you want a specific color, please choose one of our color variants without a gradient.

The photo shows several variants, but I only got one?
What matters is always what you select from the dropdown menu (e.g., size, type) and add to your shopping cart – not just the photo! Please also read the product description.

How do I get a straight pen tip when my pen is shipped with an angled adapter?
It's very simple: carefully pull the plastic tip out of the angled adapter at the front or take a pen tip from almost any other diamond painting pen and use it on our pen instead of the angled tip.

My tray lid/plug is stuck – what should I do?
Sometimes they're a bit stiff at first. Try moving the lid/plug back and forth a few times; that usually helps. Otherwise, rub the edges with Vaseline, vegetable oil, or WD-40; it's guaranteed to help!

Can I exchange something if I ordered the wrong item or don't like the color?
We'll replace it free of charge if we've made a mistake or if a product arrives defective, for example, because the package was damaged. Unfortunately, exchanges aren't possible if you ordered the wrong item or if you don't like the random rainbow color, as we produce each order individually. Therefore, please check your selection carefully before ordering.

When will I receive a reply to my email?
We'll respond as quickly as possible! However, since we run this shop as a side business, we ask for your patience, as we also have a full-time job.

The angled tip is loose, how do I tighten it again?
No problem! Pull out the tip, stick a thin strip of washi tape around it, and reinsert it – and the tip is rock-solid again.

I think the pen is not compatible with the E-Painter, what now?
We tested our pens with the e-painters from Ideen mit Herz and Picmondoo. An adapter for thin tubes is plugged into the back of the pen.
If your hose is too thick for this, simply pull the adapter out of the pen and insert the hose into the pen without the adapter.
